Summer waning

Though Labor Day is considered the traditional end of summer, in Florida it just marks the beginning of one or two more months of heat and humidity! I did, however, welcome a slight breeze when working in the yard this Labor Day holiday! :) I also got around to pulling together a couple of photos representing my 4 days in northern NJ visiting the Gray family.

Been back in school for a couple of weeks now, so mostly settled in! As usual, I'm so far behind that it matters little. Wishing for no hurricanes and an Indian summer!

Gettin' Hitched!

I would like to announce that Julia and I are engaged to be married. We have both experienced a very eventful year. Together we have celebrated some of the happiest events, as well as mourned and struggled through some very difficult times. All of these things have only brought us closer together and made us realize that no matter what life throws at us we would help each other through it. We thinking about an August of 2008 wedding, but of course nothing is final yet. I'll be putting up a website for this soon with much more info. Until then I hope you are all having a wonderful Summer.

Happy New Year - 2007!

Another year already!! Another time to reflect on the past and make plans for the future!

Our Christmas holiday was celebrated in Naples with lots of good food and beverage, mediocre weather, and plenty of visiting! We did manage a beach walk (right before a downpour!) and a beach sunset champagne toast (always the best!). When the boys went golfing one day, the girls headed to Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary and then down to Goodland for great seafood at Little Bar. It was great to see everyone!

Hope we can reunite more in person, as well as virtually, in 2007!

Wedding

Abby and Jeff have reserved the church and reception hall for a big wedding celebration on June 2, 2007. Hope you can plan on joining us then. We will keep you informed all along the way. I may have to borrow an ear or two once in awhile. Next is booking the photographer, DJ, dresses, cake, flowers, oh my, oh my, OH MY!
